How did we get here?

With a network of more than 1,200 reseller partners across the country, ITCloud.ca is now one of the leading providers of secure Microsoft cloud backup, cyber security and cloud computing services in Canada.

2005

Launch of SBackup, an online backup service 100% managed and supervised by our expert technicians on your behalf.

2013

Launch of LTBackup and ProBackup, online backup products with a management console for MSPs.

2014

Launch of MedicBackup, an online backup service for the healthcare industry, 100% managed and supervised by our expert technicians on your behalf.

2015

After 10 years of business success, Online Backup Solutions became ITCloud.ca (your IT department in a Canadian cloud). Our corporate directive was to increase the range of products offered by adding cybersecurity and business productivity solutions while adopting a more ambitious growth strategy by positioning itself as a Canadian Cloud Distributor.

2017

Expansion of our range of cloud computing solutions with the signing of new Canadian distribution agreements:

  • ITCloud.ca becomes the first Bitdefender distributor for MSP cloud computing solutions in Canada
  • ITCloud.ca signs the first MOOC Office 365 distribution agreement in Canada, a training platform for our reseller partners’ customers

2018

Two major advances for ITCloud.ca and its partners:

  • ITCloud.ca becomes a Microsoft 2-Tier Distributor in Canada and participates as an exhibitor at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (Inspire-Las Vegas)
  • ITCloud.ca acquires Cloud-IT, a 2014 winner of Microsoft’s prestigious Canadian Partner of the Year award, which migrated more than one million seats to the Microsoft cloud.

2019

Several distribution agreements and launches of new services to help our partners expand their range of cloud computing solutions

  • Addition of Microsoft Azure solutions for our partners
    ITCloud.ca becomes the first Canadian Distributor of NinjaRMM to offer its partners the Best Remote Management and Monitoring Platform in the Industry
    ITCloud.ca becomes a distributor of Letsignit, a centralized signature management solution
    ITCloud.ca enhances its offering with Zerospam, a powerful email filtering solution that can complement Microsoft 365 and Office 365
    First annual ITCloud.ca conference with over 300 partners: Altitude 2019
    Launch of ITCloud Academy, the online training and certification platform to help our partners develop their technical expertise

2020

ITCloud.ca’s first virtual annual conference that brought together virtually more than 400 people: Altitude Virtual 2020

Even more distribution agreements, notably with:

  • Avepoint (Office 365 Backup): an online backup solution for Microsoft 365, Office 365, Dynamics and Salesforce data
    BitTitan: Powerful cloud migration tools to accelerate our partners’ projects and growth.

2021

Integration with Connectwise and Autotask now available for our partners.

ITCloud.ca adds Microsoft perpetual licenses to its portfolio.

Expansion of our range of cloud computing solutions with the signing of new Canadian distribution agreements:

  • Addition of M365 Protect (powered by AvePoint’s Policies & Insights) solution for our partners: a solution that easily secures and creates reports on Teams, Groups, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • ITCloud.ca becomes a Canadian Cloud Distributor for Acronis.
